abstract:The West Slavs are Slavic peoples speaking West Slavic languages. They include Poles, Kashubians, Silesians, Czechs, Slovaks, Lusatian Sorbs and the historical Polabians.
The Macedonian government, headed by Slavs in coalition with Albanians, has told the West that it can hold the lid on ethnic tensions if, and only if, western aid keeps rolling in.
And those Slavs who have had stronger and longer historic links with the West Poles and Czechs, to name just some are indeed creating juster, as well as richer, societies.
